Women's Asia Cup 2026 — Complete Tournament Guide
The Women's Asia Cup 2026 is the tenth edition of the continent's premier women's T20 title, and it has landed in the United Arab Emirates for the first time. Organised by the Asian Cricket Council, the tournament runs from 28 August to 13 September 2026, with all 15 matches staged at a single venue — the Dubai International Cricket Stadium. Eight teams are chasing the title this year, with Indonesia making their maiden appearance alongside hosts UAE, who qualified through the 2026 ACC Premier Women's Cup.
The format is a straightforward two-group structure. Group A pairs seven-time champions India with Pakistan, Thailand and Hong Kong, China, while Group B brings together defending champions Sri Lanka, 2018 winners Bangladesh, hosts United Arab Emirates and debutants Indonesia. Each side plays every other team in its group once, and the top two from each group progress directly to the Semi-Finals — there is no Super 8 stage in this edition. The winners of both semi-finals meet in the Final on 13 September, again in Dubai.
On this hub page you'll find everything you need in one place: the running match results feed updated after every game, the live points table for both Group A and Group B, the list of upcoming fixtures, and dedicated team pages for all eight participating nations.
Sri Lanka arrive as defending champions after stunning India in the 2024 final in Dambulla, but India remain the tournament's most successful side with seven titles from the previous nine editions. Early results have already produced surprises — Pakistan's spinners dismantled Thailand, while Bangladesh and Sri Lanka have both opened with commanding wins in Group B. With the Asian Games women's cricket event in Nagoya starting just days after the final, this tournament also doubles as a high-stakes form guide for several squads.
