ICC Women's T20 World Cup 2026 — Complete Tournament Guide
The ICC Women's T20 World Cup 2026 is the tenth edition of women's cricket's premier short-format showpiece, and the biggest yet. Hosted by England and Wales from 12 June to 5 July 2026, the tournament has expanded from ten to a record 12 teams, with matches spread across seven of England's most iconic grounds — Edgbaston, Old Trafford, Headingley, the Hampshire Bowl, Bristol County Ground, The Oval, and a Grand Final at the home of cricket, Lord's.
Unlike the men's 2026 edition, this tournament uses a simpler two-group format. The 12 teams are split into Group 1 and Group 2 of six sides each, playing a single round-robin within their group. The top two teams from each group advance directly to the Semi-Finals — there is no Super 8 stage in this edition. Both semi-finals are scheduled at The Oval, with the winners progressing to the Final at Lord's on 5 July.
On this hub page, you'll find everything you need: the full ICC Women's T20 World Cup 2026 schedule, match results updated after every game, the live points table for both groups, and dedicated team squad pages for all 12 participating nations.
Defending champions New Zealand, who beat South Africa to lift the 2024 title, head into the tournament in Group 2 alongside hosts England, who have made an emphatic start on home soil. Group 1 is headlined by six-time champions Australia, 2020 finalists India, and two-time runners-up South Africa, while tournament debutants Netherlands and qualifiers Bangladesh, Ireland and Scotland add fresh storylines to the competition.
